Commodore 128 - VINTAGE COMPUTER - w/power supply, tested good

$220.00

For Sale:  Carefully tested and found to be working 100% vintage Commodore 128 computer.

The color on the case is pretty good- no sunburn or yellowing.  This was apparently stored in a climate controlled basement for a few decades and just needed a good cosmetic cleaning, no other restoration was done.

All keys checked and all are working. Starts right up in 128 or 64 mode every time. I tested this with a partially working 1571 disc drive and it worked. Also checked with a Datacassette and it was able to read and load programs easily, no issues.  Both of the joystick ports tested and working.  Audio is working. To test I downloaded Zaxxon game from internet, used AudioTap program to convert to cassette program, ran in C64 mode on the computer. Worked perfectly, see photos.

One of the 1.5amp fuses in the original power supply was bad when found so made a temporary replacement with a single hair-thin strand of copper wire wrapped around the fuse. You are highly advised to replace with the correct 125v/1.5 amp fuse. Power supply has a broken plastic screw post internally, does not cause any issues.  Although this power supply is currently working great it is highly recommended to replace the two capacitors as a preventive measure as they often go bad over the decades.
