For Sale: Classic early luggable computer with some apparent modifications.
I plugged this in and powered it up- the first couple times I pressed the power switch nothing happened so I connected a display to the composite video output. Eventually "PERFORMING SELF-TEST" displayed on the screen and after that the "Executive V1.21" boot screen came up as shown. At some point the built in monochrome amber CRT screen started working as well. I left the room to find a 5.25" disc to check the disc drives with but when I came back smelled something burning or overheating so I pulled the power plug right away to avoid burning down my house.
Selling as-is for parts or repair. To safely use this will need to be gone over carefully by a knowledgeable person, my guess is you will need to replace the power supply capacitors.
This has some extra stuff on the front panel and there should be extra hardware inside the case too. See photos for details. I think this was to connect to an external Trantor hard drive that was with it when found.
