Commodore 64 model 1702 - COMPUTER MONITOR - fully tested, works

$250.00

For Sale:  Tested and working classic Commodore color CRT monitor in pretty nice shape.  Made in Japan 1984.

Includes an original 1702 monitor manual and the receipt that came with the manual.  Cost $258.04 plus tax when purchased from Toys 'R Us in 6/84.

Cosmetically very little wear. I did notice a slightly lighter section on the screen that you can only really sometimes see if the screen is all one darker color. It's possible it just needs a degaussing.  Regardless it still has a sharp display, good color and contrast. Audio is also good.  Tested with both a DVD player and composite outputs as well as a Commodore 64 computer with the Chroma Luma cable.  All controls are good

Here is video taken during testing- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8mHhvxieYMo  The lighter section can't be seen at all in the video and the little dot on the screen is a refection of the the record light on my video camera. Also the darker scan lines CAN'T be seen when watching in person, they are probably an artifact of my video camera.

Send your zip code for a shipping cost estimate - should be between $14.99 and $33.99 if you are in the USA (May 2022)
