For Sale: Tested and working classic Commodore monitor in nice condition.
Over the period of a few weeks I used this to play back videos from a DVD player and also used it to test out a Commodore 128 computer being sold separately.
Good sharp color video, bright, good audio, no issues found. All the controls tested and working. The Chroma, RGB switch was a bit finicky when first started using but seems to be fine now, probably can use a cleaning internally with Deoxit spray.
Not sure if it was necessary but when I got this I powered up very slowly with a Variac. Many of these older Commodore monitors will need capacitors replaced at some point and it's recommended to replace them just as a preventive measure anyway.
The color on the case is pretty good- no sunburn or yellowing. This was apparently stored in a climate controlled basement for a few decades and just needed a good cosmetic cleaning, no other restoration was done. On the bottom there are back legs that fold out but don't see any front legs, may be missing, I do see one black peg in the front bottom part, see photos.
Additional high rez photos available on request.
