4.5V DC, 3 x AA size batteries.  Accepts an adapter/charger (undefined ) through socket on the top side on the right.  A warning note on the back says "If AC adaptor is used, batteries must be Ni-Cad AA type".
Case: Solid two-piece case with the top in beige and the bottom in darker grey.  It is wedged shaped with a more pronounced tilt towards the top.  A neutral (and quite light) display filter gives a clear display.  It is surrounded by a silver painted escutcheon that had not survived well on my example.  It also has a raised Victor which was originally painted silver too.  The keyboard area is surrounded by one large light gold brushed aluminium panel which sits in its own recess.  It has some small printed black text around the power switch.  They keys (somewhat reminiscent of Rockwell colours) are squishy and wobbly but work well enough.
Display: 8 blue VFD display with a ninth digit for minus. memory and error indication.
Features: Standard four functions, change sign, square root, reciprocal, squares, pi, percentages and four function memory.
Age: 1977
Manufacturer: Made in Japan for Victor Comptometer Corporation, Chicago, Ill, USA.  Serial number 7150574. (Also observed serial number 7137574 for sale on the internet).
Comments:

Quite well built American brand calculator from a small range that Victor did.  They keys are somewhat reminiscent of Rockwell colours. The design appears to a bit old fashioned and bulky for this late date. The logic is sound with only negative square roots letting it down.

Send your zip code for a ship cost quote - should be between $5.99 and $7.99 if you are in the USA. (May 2020)
