Fujitsu Stylistic 1200 PEN TABLET COMPUTER w/TFT screen, pen,+++

For Sale:  1990's Fujitsu Stylistic 1200 with very nice and sharp active matrix TFT display with native 640x480 resolution.

Includes the original active pen that uses an AAAA battery (included). Pen works well and right click button works well. Double tap and select work well. See video.

A fresh install of DOS 6.2 and Windows 98 was performed on 7/25/24. This is being sold mainly as a collectible and for use as a retro gaming machine so for testing I tried a bunch of vintage DOS and Windows games, emulators, arcade shareware, etc. Including tons of old DOS shareware games on the hard drive- some will work fine, some will work fine after tweaking, some will not work at all. The hard drive is 4GB - formated in FAT16 so the main partition is 2GB for DOS. 

The tablet is in decent shape with some general wear. It's missing the PCMCIA covers. Small chip and some wear on one side- see photo. A screen protector has been installed over the screen from the first day I found this years ago. Touchscreen is very responsive with the pen- only works with pen as it's not a capacitive touchscreen. Display is very nice- sharp color, bright, fast response. I see one bright pixel that's not obvious and is hard to notice when using. The Li-Ion battery is long dead. The BIOS battery is dead. Includes the original docking station which adds two USB ports, mouse/keyboard PS2 ports, and bunch of other connectors. Includes a Sony laptop AC adapter that works well with this tablet, adapter and cord have some wear.

Extras include a second working Stylistic 1200 that is missing the hard drive cable, hard drive, batttery, and back cover. It has a transflective monochrome display and 16MB RAM. You should be able to swap over the better condition plastics to the TFT machine. Or if you want you should be able take the hard drive and other parts from the TFT screen Stylistic and you will have working machine although it has not been tested with a hard drive in years. Included for parts only.  Also including a little metal stand that works well to hold the tablet upright with the dock in place on a desk.

Sold as a vintage collectible- have run probably 20 hours over last few weeks and booted 50+ times. Haven't tested every little thing on this laptop but it's described honestly and as accurately as possible.
